rear sway, and front strut. (post please)
i am really considering now to buy rear sway bars, and a front strut.
1. Can you guys tell me how much of a difference you felt when you baught/installed them
2. How much were both?
3. What brand?
4. Is it worth the price?

1. I felt quite a bit of difference after installing both of these (I installed them at the same time), it didn't transform the whole car into a handling machine, but it was enough to be more than worth it...
2. Strut bar: $25 shipped, sway bar: $139
3. I got the strut bar from eBay (Revotec was the seller, I really like it), and I got the rear sway bar from custommaxima.com, which works really well and is priced right.
4. Yep.

Thanks a lot, il check out csutommax.com, because a stillen rear sway bar costs 250... and the strut im probably ordering right now off of ebay. I AM SICK OF UNDERSTEER! spun out in the hills about a week ago, and came an inch from flying off a cliff. (my left front tire was literally an inch from the cliff.) i want a little more control.
You spun out because of UNDERsteer? With understeer you usually push wide in corners.
I have the Progress/Cattman rear bar. Check the group buys section.
FSTB is Otto, but it was $50 or $60 and will "perform" no better than a $25 bar. It does LOOK nice though.
I didn't notice a dramatic change after adding the front strut tower brace, but noticed much flatter cornering after adding the rear anti-sway bar.
I do have one "issue" with the RSB though, which may or may not be in my head. After adding Tokico springs and Illumina shocks, the rear suspension does not seem very compliant over rough surfaces. I am going to see if I can "loosen up" the RSB by relocating the bushings by a few inches. The problem could just be the stiffer springs and not the RSB. This is the joy of "tuning" I guess.

if you lost control of your car because of understeer then you will kill yourself with oversteer. The RSB can be a nasty monster if you dont know how to drive with it.
I have ebay front and rear strut bars, I never noticed much if anything at all from them.
I have a Progress RSB and body roll is dropped considerably, But if you dont know how to use it youre screwed. oversteer is not a joke, you need to get on the gas to correct it....getting on the brakes makes it worse. Most ppl get on the brakes in a panic situation.
