i have a tendency to get excited when someone mentions red/clear tails.

 

Korean here too. Do you know why some of us run to cheer leaders? Cause we've been americanized and lost our way. They call people like us "bananas". Yellow on the outside, white on the inside. When I first heard that, it offended me. But the truth hurts. Now I do them all...no prejudice lol. The fact is though..there's just more white chicks around...I would love to date more asian girls...but they are just a fraction of the population. I hope to score some more though,..I rather have an asian chick, than have a plain Jane any day. it's kinda like how white chicks are getting tired of white guys and running to blacks and others. I'm tired of the white girls. I just take them cause the ratio is in their favor.

And one more thing..you gotta be kidding about those jap girls...they look like cartoons. they don't look human. I bet you got turned on when bugs bunny dressed up like a girl bunny lol.

When you're asian..you can tell. Like i can't tell the diff between white people...jews, irish, italian, french, whatever...you all look the same to me.

How is it that one can find All Clears for a 00-03 Maxima but not for a 95-96? I thought they weren't made for recent cars due to the illegality.

 

wait wait wait... so if i just take clear testors spray paint and spray over the amber(well now red) it will cover it up and it will be clear? Something seems fishy about that. Just clarifying...

Do I use the Testors Candy Apple Red transparent paint to do the tails in red? Second of all, can't you buy testors paint at model stores? If there is somewhere better I can get it I would love to know. Thanks a lot guys. Oh and by the way, screwing w/ us 95-96 owners about not so real ways to get red/clear tails isnt nice. We are very desperate.

If all of you guys were serious about spraying your tails with clear testors paint, then you are retarded.

 

If someone would just make red-clears for the 95-96, all this frustration would be gone! Why won't they make them anyway?

how many coats of testors clear paint....and did u scuff the lenses before u sprayed

 

Wasn't there a thread on how to make your own? I believe it said something about taking them apart, seperating ther layers with a heat gun and pealing off the amber.

The only chance of you getting 96 red clears is to find some on ebay or the org(which there is a pair for sale right now) and it will run you a good 300. You cant take apart the light and to all the clear paint posts, when you put a clear coat over a color of paint, what color does it end up? Is it clear? no because clear is not a color. Theres maybe 1 million posts on the org about this topic and nothing has been done. Us 95 96 owners just have to accept our lights and thats it no changing it.

 

Just get Altezzas..I happen to like them

 

me too... i dont mind em, id rather have the red/clear lenses like on the 97-99 maximas tho... but a pair of altezzas is cheaper than a trunk conversion

 

What kind of altezzas did you get? I am thinking about getting some, too

 

I got the first gen, before the second ones came out..I got the chrome ones cause it goes with my trenz chrome grille and I have light gold color paint. I do like the second gens better, neat looking. If you have dark paint...go with the cf kind. My friend has them, very nice looks on those.

 

Got any pictures of the cf kind...I don't really like the 2nd gen for my car.

 

I foudn all clears on the Stillen website. They are pricey though.
