y-pipe

im going to be shopping for a y-pipe pretty soon, and ive narrowed it down to two y-pipes, the cattmann y-pipe or the custom enterprise y-pipe. does anybody have the custom enterprise y-pipe or know anybody that does? im not interested in a warpspeed y-pipe... its not an exact fit while the cattmann is, i dont know about the custom enterprise one though. the cattmann ($350) is $100 more than the custom enterprise y-pipe ($250) so if anybody can give me any imput about the custom enterprise y-pipe it would be appreciated
thanks

not all y-pipes are the same, the warpspeed model they sell on ebay is made of aluminzed steel, which rusts much quicker than stainless steel, which is what the cattmann and custom enterprise y-pipes are made of, and nobody has answered my questions about the custom enterprise y-pipe

im for real... everyone suggests WSP... but after buying their catback, im not gonna order from them again... i do know that their y is better... i am probably going to get a cattman y-pipe after reading the summary from maxmods.... seems like all others have slight fitment issues or they are a tight fit... and i don't want anything to crop up so im gonna go with the best quality...

they probably will all work the same and fit somewhat about the same... but in this case, i dont want to take any chances...

i hear ya man, ive read on forums on maximaracing.org that the warpspeed isnt an exact fit, while the cattmann is. myself, i say go big or dont go at all, so i just may go with the cattmann, but if the custom enterprise is the same thing just a little tighter, then ill just save myself $100, which is like a month of gas for me and get that

I wrote the "tight fit" on maxmods, reason I said that is because the front two uppipes were really hard to get on at once making it really hard to install. I got it to get on with some wrestling but its good. oh yea, NO rattling.

yeah its completely up to how much you want to spend... if gtr_rider got his and said it was ok then you know you shouldn't worry about the CM one id just go get it if you want to save money, but still... personally, i was gonna get the Cattman header system, but after hearing there was no more gains over a y-pipe then um.... plans changed just a bit...

1. Your car will not last long enough for the y-pipe to rust.
2. They are all the freakin same. 2 primaries, one pipe, some flex section.

I admit the WSP Y banged around on the x-member for the 1st month I had it. That could have been easily prevented, but it worked itself out anyway.

Buy the cheapest one unless you like flushing $$$ down the sh!tter.
