I in the market for new rims and want rims that are light and cheap. I was looking at a set of SE 5 spokes, Enkei R-SE in 17" and Konig Tantrums in 17" sizes. I was wondering, what would be most beneficial in the performance stand point. I want to get the aftermarket rims b/c they would be larger and prevent some of the sidewall flex, but i was considering the SE 5 spokes b/c i thought they were significantly lighter. But i would like to go with the enkei's or konigs if there isn't a significant weight diff. thanks for any info.

No.......

don't get the 97+ se rims
they are not great at all in term of weight quite heavy

if you want light wheel, invest about 1000 on rims, another 500 or so on tire....
you could great rims for that
now if you would spend about 400 a rim...then you definately are talking about some light nice looking rims that works
go to chebosto , SOCAL max site
he has a courtesy list of rim weight
awesome
if you insists of nissan's oem rim, get the 300zx rims
the latest one of course
or you could always get a 'nismo' rim
^_^
