Sticking Caliper?

I`m having a problem with one of the rear brake calipers on my 99 SE. After a few miles of driving the rotor gets very hot and I can smell brakes. I pulled the wheel off and I could turn the rotor by hand, I took the caliper off and I can screw the piston in and out with a pair of pliers. The caliper must be sticking enough to cause excessive heat from the friction, but the caliper isn`t locked up completely. Can I fix this caliper, or should I change the whole thing? I`m having trouble locating a caliper around town. What else could cause this? The parking brake is not dragging.

Replaceing would be best, what kind of town you live in? Just playing. . .

Autozone, Checker, NAPA, Pep Boys all should or are able to get that part.

I think you can buy a hardware skit that goes with your caliper. It's sort of like a caliper rebuild.
I did it to mine when the calipers were loose and made this deathly soundly clackity clack sound over bumps. Since mine was too loose and it fixed it I presume it would work for you since it sounds like its just a matter of worn out parts.
