Hey guys, I've moved to Cali~ (i should change my profile now that I think about it).

Lately, I'm not luvin my car as much... I must be smokin somethin...

I dunno what it is... maybe it's my hub cap wheels... or maybe the drowning noise of my y+obx cat on a AT... Maybe cuz I can't get any grip off the line now that I have to tens in the trunk...

I wanna love my car again... It's such a nice car...
what should I do?

Get wheels to make it more eye-pealing?
or.. do I change out the exhuast setup so it's not so drowning?
or maybe I change the tranny, that would make things interesting on LA freeways during rush hour..............

I dunno... I should post pics... I don't think I've ever done that..

Just wanna hear your opinions... flame on too.. I could use a little heat.

f speed, if u hate your car, its normally cause of looks. Sounds like u did nothin to the car, not to mention u have a GXE which is the ugliest style stock. Get some stock SE rims, a drop, there is so much to do, u just have to work within your budget. Looks will make you love the car faster than speed. Prepare 3k and you'll make your car so sexy you'll look at it twice before u lock it

Yeah, it's already dropped and I also did a interior leather swap... but given, I don't have a spoiler... and i don't the best rear end either....
Rims would do some justice that's for sure... but I think I'm more annoyed by the noise....

I say fix the noise problem, then do 1 mod a month. You will always love you car because it will always be changing.

for sure get some wheels...as for the sound...what do you want it to sound like?? we have v6 engines, when you do exhaust stuff its gonna be deep and drowning when you are crusing...do you want it louder? do a custom 2.5" catback and magna flow 2.5" muffler and you will have a loud *** deep sounding maxima. if you want it just deep and not so loud get a greddy sp2. what do you personally want your car to sound like?? do you want to hear the whining of a supercharger? the spooling of a turbo? i'd say do the ae headlight mod cuz on a beige max it looks good and clean...do a carbon fiber hood and a stillen kit? the simple things will add to your car....get some night shade paint and tint your tails and bumper lenses...there is a million things you can do and a bunch of different looks you can go with for your maxima.

I thought the same...but I've owned and SE and currently a GXE and love my GXE way better than my SE...my GXE owns all....I say fix the noise...put some rims on it...and kit that baby!

Get some rims, drop her like it's hot, change the lighting, tint the windows, hell paint the car a different color. All of these things will definitely make you like her more. But take it one step at a time, like Keyser said, 1 mod a month.

I know how you feel .. . I also want to love my car again, and by doing these things:

Fix stereo system, find out why amp keeps blowing fuse.
Replace Knock Sensor.
Reduce noise from D2 Coilovers.
Cattman Y Pipe.
Wash car.

Once I do all these, I should love my car again.

I think the car will look faily nice with new rims, but I'm not sure what to get...
anything smaller than 17s doesn't make much of a deal, but 17s are heavy... unless I pay more (but we know we don't like doing that).
by the way... she's tinted... (funny, never thought of her as a woman...)

I think maybe I'll get a front and rear end conversion. It'll at least look newer.
I might take out the subs too... the sounds all right, but it's weighin me down.

Mevi is lookin real good too....

But man... I don't like my exhuast right now....
It's nice a low which I like.. but even when I'm light on the throttle, it's growlin...
which I don't like too much.............
It's been that way since the y pipe... I liked the sound of just the obx and intake....
now the y pipe is just... well, I think you get the picture.

what kinda rims? Stock se's? newer 5 lug nissan 17/18's? or any generic after market brand?
