questions about used stillen aerokit

im going to purchase this used stillen kit which is already painted my color. apperantly the kit has been sittin in the garage for about a good 2 years.
this kit will be purchased localy and i have already seen the kit. the side skirts happen to be sittin under some heavy stuff so they are like bend in but the paint is still in excellent condition. i have heard that stillen ships out their kits already bent to save some space and all we have to do is leave it in the sun and its gonna get back into shape, now my question is, is this kit gonna get back in its original shape after sitting under some stuff and being bend for 2 years?? or could it possibly have lost its potential to bend back in the original shape and will remain in its current shape?

i test fitted the side skirts and once on car, they look how they should, but when u take it off the car, the centers will bend back in!!!

thanks in advance guys.

If you put them on the car and they fit right then it shouldn't be a problem, after a while on the car they'll go back to normal. I don't see why you care if they fit right anyway

Somehow I have a hard time believing that the PAINT is that flexible. I know the poly stillen kits bend and unbend no problem, but I never heard about no problem WITH PAINT. You might want to double check that bud.

thanks for the heads up, im afraid that after sittin in the garaged for 2 years, the kit might have "formed" a new shape and lots its potential to go back to its original shape. thats what im worrying about

watch the colour of the paint, as a car ages the paint changes hue slightly. Just somthing to check when you get it.
