Ok i still havent figured out what is causing my automatic shifter to rattle when i floor it in first. Does anyone else have this problem? If you do, you will know what im talking about because it is loud as hell but right when it shifts into second it stops. does anyone know what could be causing this? I took it to a shop and they were going to try to brace up the y-pipe a little better to see if that will stop it. They said that there was too much torque and was twisting the engine and causing it to rattle against something. could it be that my motor mounts are going and its just letting my engine move more in turn making my y-pipe rub against something? i have no experience with motor mounts so i dont know...

 

Do you have a warpspeed y-pipe?

actually i just remembered i took off that black piece when i first put my y-pipe on... hopefully i can find it when i got home. might have to improvise somehow.
