My knock sensor is malfunction but the car is still driving good except the RPM won't go beyong 2200.....Do i have to replace now? Winter is approaching and don't wanna replace now, could i wait till spring and replace it or it has to be replace now.....Any feedback would really help.

I would replace it now if I were you. I don't know if Philly has emissions requirements but still it could lead to other issues.

Why do you think the knock sesnor is not working.....the rpm problem is not knock sesnor related.

RPM's not going above 2200 indicates your MAF has failed. Thats also may be causing the KS code to pop up. Fix or replace your MAF sensor and the KS code should go away.
