Radio Button

One of my preset buttons is loose and can be removed ftom the radio face plate with a finger nail. It currently sits in place loosely. Any thoughts on a replacement without replacing the whole unit for $400.? This was thre only idea the local Nissan dealer parts staff had and frankly their suggestion seemed akin to replacing the car when the ash tray is full.

Your best bet is a junkyard, eBay or an .org member. There has to be someone out there getting rid of their stock radio for a new one due to some problem or other and is probably gonna chuck the stock one. But if you have no luck and are gonna change the radio, get one from a 99, it looks nicer and it's plug and play.

heh, my Bose's Power button was loose when i bought my max. it has since broken off and my dealer said to replace the whole thing. yeah right, i could get a brand new system for less. i have no idea what to do though, since i'm broke. sux that it's one of your preset buttons though. Get XM and you wont have to deal with the head unit =) thats what i finally did.
