Please letme know if im getting something good. Its gonna be a lil cheaper then that. But i have no experience with this whats so ever. Actually, if you want the best of both CD and DVD playback go with Kenwood Excelon series! They're customer service and attraction from girls will set you in your seat with only happiness....I'm also a little biased towards Kenwood so be that as it may, it is the best looking and best performing flipout available!

I thought kenwood screens were a POS? I'd personally go with a pioneer.

i have a kenwood excelon 907 flip out.. its good, touch screen.. ive had it for a wlong time now.. took it out my prelude and put it in the max....the only thing i dont like about these things is that u have to wait for the screen to warm up before it shows at its best quality.... im biased towards kenwood excelon products. but alpine is great also.. installation isnt hard at all, took me about 3 hrs (including running, hiding wires and setting up antennas for my tv tuner)... its simple..just requires patience and entails alot more wires than a regular cd player depending on what u get... but to get it professionally installed ur looking at around 250..

Go to any Circuit City or Best Buy, whatever in your area that sells car audio/video products. Get yourself a harness for your maxima and also pick up one of these if you want to watch video while you are driving.

You are right, but you would have to do it with switches. Every time you start your car, you would have to flip the switches.
