hmmm.... it sounds kinda buzzy and high pitched... definately sounds beasty though... id have to hear it in person to tell if i like it or not... i think i just might stay with the cattman y-pipe with a custom exhaust to tone it done a bit...

thanks for the clips though man, i know we were hassling you about em!

Sounds pretty bad a$$. Can you feel a power gain? Low end, top end? I have made my mind up long ago especially with FI. Header and a mevi I would think work together really well. You are gonna be ejoying some flat spots, its only kinda cool when you do it without the e-brake on.

ACTION!!!!!!! That's all I have to say...The car is a rocket, but just a tad bit too loud. I'll be doing my exhaust system pretty soon.

it sounds beasty...but I think the straight pipe robs the great sounds your car could potentially really make....get a high flow cat for $100 from WSP and your set!!! man I wish the headers made a sound difference like they do on the 3.5L VQ's!!!! but i guess they don't....then again....no video can do a car's sound justice...

anyone with the cattman headers and full catback setup with a driving inside video..?? i just want to know what they sound like in cabin!

Sound quality is awesome. My stock auto 4th gen's tach needle does not move that fast for sure.
felt bad for the car on the burnouts though. I use to do that as a teenager with my Fiat SuperBrava and something would invariably end ****ed up.

Sounds horrible IMO. I got the Cattman headers and catback, and it sounds nothing like yours. I have the stock cat on though. I bet it's the test pipe that make it sound so bad. And it's way too loud.

sorry but I don't like the sound at all. Must be your test pipe because one of the local members here in Az has the SP2 with a simple Y pipe and its sounds awesome. Then again it could just be the sound quality

interesting video, I agree with other that it sounds too loud, I feel some of it is due to the bad video and sound quality but I still think its too loud. hopefuly once you get that cat in you'll have a lovely deep Z/G35 sounds going.

but currently it sounds too loud, and also Honda-ish

did you do the install or took it to a shop?

Nice Vid, IDK That much about exhaust sounds when it comes to being raspy or whatever, but I thought that sounded SWEET! Different than I've ever heard before. It is loud but I like the pitch.

I love the sound at WOT

perfect example is right at 1:10-1:11 in the video.

This thead is a good example of why it is useless to ask for opinions how how different exhaust set ups sound. Some think it sounds great and others are right.

yah I am pretty sure that loud and raspy sound is coming from the test pipe. Definitly a race car sounds. The only 4 banger I have ever heard like that had a side exit header.
