Help!!!

My friend's check engine light turned on so i got the obdII scanner and the two codes i got were DTC P0115 (engine coolant temp) and P0325 (knock sensor 1). Can anyone tell me more about these codes? I looked at the stickies but it didn't say anything about the 0325. also, are these problems urgent? oh yeah, the Brake light is on too. I first thought it was the alternator since both the brake and engine light turned on. what is up with my friend's car? thank you for any help!

1. brake fluid is probably low (unless the parking brake is engaged - but I assume you have checked that already)... if the fluid is low - it means that some/all of your pads are probably getting worn and you should make sure they don't need replacement. Topping off the fluid will take care of the brake light.

2. replace the ECTS - reset the ECU - drive around and see if the knock sensor code returns. If it does, worry about it then. ECTS is 20 bucks or so from any parts store (including a dealer) and will take 10 mins to replace.
