Installing trunk multi CD changer wiring ???

I would like to get a stock cd changer to hook to my stock radio/cd player in the dash. I found a wire harness & connector in the trunk on right side behind insulation. Do I just plug in here, mount unit and I'm done or is there more to it?

does the wiring harness and connector you found match the one for the CD changer? If so then all you need to do is mount the CD changer and plug that bad boy in...if not you'll have to find the right wiring harness and run it through the car yourself. BTW this belongs in the Audio/Video forum

4th gens are not wired for CD changers. The changer you purchase comes with the wire. Just run it to the trunk and plug it into the back of your BOSE system.

What is the wire I found in the trunk?
I don't think I have a Bose system, would it say Bose?

The only pre existing wire I know of in the trunk is on the deck lid, for the spoiler brake light.

I had to pull out my RR light and found this hanging wire with 5 prong connector, only thing that made sense was the cd changer.

That wire harness could be for the box for the keyless remote receiver. Do you have that feature on your max?
