stock struts w/coilover problem...

I just slammed my car for the hell of it.. I chopped, Yes I said "CHOPPED" the springs 3 1/2 coils.. I figured out every coil is really close to an inch of lowering... It isn't that the car is low, but the damn motor support beam that runs from front to rear under the motrt, is only maybe 2.5 inches off ground.. Sux.. I tried to get coil overs, but the collor was too small to fit around stock struts.. Meaning the collor where you adjust the ride height... Any one else have this problem with stock struts and coil-overs?? Do I need to get aftermarkey struts now???

Thanx...

You've created a very dangerous situation, personally I wouldn't even drive the car. There is no way those springs are secured in their perches. One good dip and there going to unseat themselves.

You'll find your car on the ground....
