did the I30's come w/factory phone under the armrest?

I won an auction that netted me a 96 I30 center console. When I opened up the armrest, I was shocked to see a phone that was in there. It looks factory, but it doesn't have the Infinit logo on it. There's no buttons to make calls on it either. Anyone wanna buy this??

that's what i said, a phone. when you open up the center console armrest, it was bolted to the bottom of the console. there's no buttons on it to make a call though??? looks like it just receives calls and not dial them. i'm just wondering if infiniti had a factory phone.

Yeah it is factory. It is an extra feature the I30T had. Under the radio there is a din with a touchpad to make phone calls, but it is obsolete unless you wanna pay as you go.
Phone- worthless, bc there is even a mic in front of the steering wheel to talk.

If you wanna see pix of the lower din go to my page

Yeah, that's crazy though Luigi. So have you used it at all through your steering wheel mic or no?

Also, since this thread is about a phone I thought it would be best to ask now. Does anybody know any shops that install parts for phones. I just got a whole new housing for mine and I definitely am not gonna do it myself. Preferrably in NJ. Thanks.
