Just got into a accident!!!!!!!

Ok raining really bad on the freeway, going about 60, i hit a small puddle i guess hydro plane a little to the right. I try to brake lightly and counter stear next thing i know i'm facing oncoming traffic, while drifting towards the cement wall. I saw my life flash before my eyes, the this old lady in a town car clipped me and pushed me back foward again.

So right now my bumper, lights, hood, left fender is all messed up, i can't open my door cause my fender is pushed back.

only thing that got damaged under the hood, was the radiator got pushed backed, and the bar that holds the radiator and bumper is bent badly, nothing leaking, no check engine.....

When I got into a reck with the max a couple of months ago, I bent the radiator bar as well. Hopefully you didn't bend the frame like I did.

Boy you are lucky. We had the same sort of damage happen to our '97 BMW 7 series from running into a bull elk...actually he ran into us. Anyway, the damage was worse and it was totally repairable and the car still looks and runs great. I think your car will be fine!

yeah my 19's are ok, good thing i took out my hid kit last month, or they would have been so messed up.

Well i just got done taking off the lights and the bumper, the frame is a little bent, but looks like it can be hammerd a little, basically everything in front of the radiator, i need to buy a new one. Me and my dad are going to try to fix it ourselves, doesn't look like a hard job, just need to find the parts. My dad touches up car's so no problem on painting anything.

Scary!

Before you start anything with the car take it to a shop to see if the frame is still within stock spec. Even if you bent it a little, it may be bent enough where your car will ride sideways, vibrate, or give you a million unsafe problems that cant be seen just be looking at the car.

Damn...glad to hear your ok...i agree with "ant96gle"...if the side frames arent bent, i say go repair it. I had an accident (pics on my homepage) where the center frame was smashed in right in the middle, but it didnt a touch the sides. So I had a new frame put in and had the car repaired and it runs just as good as it did b4 the accident.

its great that you are ok, it could have been worse at 60 mhp...

i had a similar thing on 91 accord, i entered hugh and deep puddle of water, the car hydroplaned to the right and hit a wooden pole with the right wheel, 1000$ fix.

I'm glad to hear you are alright, glad the max to the damage rather than you.

now that I think about it when you counter steared and broke, that made the front like a pivot, and thats how you ended up facing backwards. I'm glad once again your alright thought.

I agree with getting your frame checked out, if its bent too much then it wont be worth fixing the car, due to the bent frame, you'll just encounter many problems in the future and depending on your mods (power mods) that might make it worse.

you might want to either get another max and transfer parts to the new Max and part out the other max, there are a lot of people in need of parts so if you were to do that, I'm sure you wouldnt have much of a problem getting rid of a lot of the parts on that car

hope all works out well, keep us posted.

Wow, feel sorry for your car man. As long as you are ok. From the pictures you took. I thought it was my car in different color. I think I have the same side damage like your. I know how you feel. Keep us posted.

if you are going to try and get a G35, you could pull in some decent money for a downpayment if you part out the max.

check in the for sale in the calssified, people are in need of parts all the time, I dont think you'd have a hard time getting rid of many many parts. Hope you get another max and transfer your mods and part out the crashed max, but if you go G35 I'm sure you'll be happy.

either way were glad to hear your alright.
