I have a 97 maxima gle with 190000 miles on it. I have a noise that seems to be coming from my front right brake. You only hear the noise right before you come to a complete stop and not always then. It sorta sounds like a spring stretching. Its not very loud. My disc are okay. This problem does not happen all the time and like I stated only upon COMPLETE STOP. It actually stops making the whinning noise before the complete stop.
Any suggestion would be apprec.

Try a different brake pad, make sure your rotors have no scores on them.
