This is my story:
March of this year, I got a 98 SE auto....the 3rd day I had it, the tranny went out. I don't know how/why. So, Dixit, Ociel, and I replaced it w/ a 2k1 tranny. It threw 1 code "torque converter CKT intermittent" - I think cuz the 4th and 5th gen TC's have different stall speeds.
Anyway, I get so tired and bored of automatic, I put it up for sale...sold it Oct. 21. A week later I got my 98 gxe 5spd.
FINALLY a 5spd. I had been looking for almost a year and a half but none really came to par in this area. So.....check it out.
