I went to start my maxima last night, and the ignition wouldnt turn the, the brake was locked and the steering wheel would only move to the left slightly. This has happened before when I cut the wheel too much, but usually if you just turn the wheel a little bit, the ignition will turn. However it was not working last night, so I locked my car up and went to bed. This morning I go to open my car using my key, and the key wont open the lock.(Im a moron and lost my keyless entry). I read that this is all happening due to the antitheft system that locks everything up. I called the dealer and he said the only hting they can do is tow the truck to the dealership and make a new keyless entry. He also didnt believe my theory about the anitheft system, he just thinks theres something wrong with my door. Any help or ideas?

 

go in through the passenger side. the anti theft will allow you to unlock the door. When you put the key in the ignition, pull the wheel very hard to the left and turn the key at the same time. You probably turned your wheel into the curb when you parked and locked the steering wheel, that's all

 

yea that probably it, my mom locked the wheel with her corolla and she couldnt start her car, she woke me up at 6am to "fix" it.
