Quick advice! Bad bad paint chip!

Was trying to repair the dent on my car, and got it about 1/2 way out .. so it looks much better then it did. Decided to let a body shop take care of it at some point after this attempt.

But, however i f'd up a spot on the paint ... (this is a bad digital camera picture, the scratches all over everything are from the dirty lense not my car i swear!)

But anyways, it's hard to tell in the picture but the red circle is not just a scratch/crack, because the metal is malformed it popped the paint out a bit so one side of the scratch is kind of like a bubble. If someone were to touch it and pull it i have a feeling it could pull off a good deal of paint.

I'm wondering if i should take a razor and cut out a very small piece so i can flatten the paint and put some wax on it to protect it until i can get some touchup paint or what

Thoughts?
