Did I fried my BCM?
My car was involved in an accident a week ago. I was trying to start up my car. Everytime I turn the key, It completely lost power. When I turn the key to ON, it was fine. But when I turn the key to start, it lost power. It only happen that incident. I heard some loud clicking noise next to the driver side dash. I finally got the car to start by moving some line near the battery. The accident push the left headlight wiring up to the battery. I figure that was the problem.
After I started the car, I notice the key switch light was gone. My passanger and driver door light is out. I lost control of all four of my windows. I can't roll up or roll down my windows. I can't lock or unlock the door from inside. My oem remote is not working. I will check Fuse 40 and Fuse 12 to see if it burn out. There is still power to the door. All the lights light up when I turn it on. Now I have no problem starting the car.
The first level of the wiper is not working also.
From an 96 GLE to a 96 LX, this sucks. I figure the BCM Body Control Module got fried. Any comments will be appreciate.
