5 Speed Trans. Noise...Help!!!!

'98 SE

I here what sounds like a non-lubed bearing spinning while the engine is idling. When I depress the the clutch, the noise stops. Could it be the clutch throw-out bearing?
FYI: Although the noise was already there, I just changed to full syn fluids.

Definitely could be your TOB. Possibly could be worse.

Any other symptoms? How long has the noise been there? Do you normally hammer on your Max?

If the noise is present when idling in neutral with your foot off the clutch pedal, and goes away when depressing the pedal to the floor...............

Input shaft bearing.
