car dies at idle, bogs at 30mph for 5-10 secs

hey guys my friend and i have a problem with both our cars, our cars die at idle once in a while and doesnt atart back up after that for 30 seconds at WOT, bogs at 30mph for 5-10 secs

figure its a fuel pressure problem doubt its the pump may be fuel pressure regulator, perhaps the injectors? or even the MAF ehhh any input would help im going to try my OBDII plug in computer but i know this has happened to others out there and if you can help us it would save us alot of agrivation

ive changed the bloody fuel filter. although i have heard lately that certain intakes kill the MAF's in 5th gens mabey it happened to mine? but for some reason im getting a fuel pressure code and because it runs rich at start up enough to blow a puff of black smoke out when it kicks over i believe the fuel pressure regulator is failing and the failed diaphram is sending fuel back into the intake manifold at idle and start up.

dont we have any good, credible mechanics on this site?

I have a IACV sitting around (working perfectly) if you need one... Like others have said, I would vote for a faulty MAF.
