9007 Hid kit

Since we have that great 9004-9007 wirte up, has anyone considered doing a 9007 hid kit on their 4th gen? Will it make that much of a difference from 9004 hid kit?

the only thing different about the bulbs will be the base of them where they fit into the housing, beam pattern would be the same

wasn't there a recent write up of converting from 9004 to 9007? the guy said the beam pattern was much superior. How would this work with HIDs?

with filament bulbs, yes the beam pattern would be much better with 9007

however, with HID bulbs....the only thing changing between the two bulbs would be the base and how it fits into the housing
