gauge cluster wrong readings

hi everybody

my temperature gauge gives wrong temperatures (i knew this when i start the engine cold, it gives normal engine operating temperature already although engine is cold) it goes beyond half way and gets closer to H
(hot). i checked everything, antifreeze is full, engine oil is new

now what do u think is wrong? Is it the Senser? or Is it the dash cluster that does have problem?

thank u

could be a bad sensor or your needle is not calibrated properly

Have you messed with the gauge cluster recently? I had this same problem also after I did the LED mods, the problem was that my idiotic self forgot to tighten the screws in the back of the gauges and that messed everything up, but after I tighted those screws up, everything was working just fine

no i didn't play with it at all, i don't know why it is giving me wrong readings, sometimes it works just fine, so i don't know if it is the needles or the sensor

anyone got any suggestions, fix price ideas?
