Loud Heater Blower Fan (At Times)

I have a 99 GXE and for the last year or so the AC/Heater Fan gets "loud" at times, like the plastic fan is warped or something. Happened with other cars I've owned, just age I guess, but short of replacing blower unit, any cheap/quick fixes?

Thanks

here is a link to a TSB that may help your situation. you could take that part number and get it from a local dealer or call up dave burnette. i had this tsb performed about a year ago with no more issues. i really only noticed the ticking when the fan was set on 1 or 2.

Looks like I have the loud noise mentioned on page 3, notice noise in extreme hot or cold weather when fan is on high, very loud, fan rapping type noise.

Thanks for the TSB.

BTW chipo'...mine started out that way and just got worse, so watch out... could be a nice pre-emptive maneuver.
