recently i have noticed a problem with what seems like my rear suspension. under normal driving, when i go over bumps, especially speed bumps, when the back end of the car goes down i hear a clunking, it is as if the car is bottoming out. how can i diagnose what the problem is? any ideas would be helpful.

sounds like bottoming out, stock susp? maybe blown?

 

could be the exhaust. the b pipe hager rusts and bangs around.
