I put my snow tires on two days ago, and i had my car parked in a slanted driveway. I jacked up the rear end with the front facing downhill and i noticed coolant leaking out. The resevoir bottle was just below min. and i keep it right at max or above. i checked all over and couldn't find the leak. this is starting to concern me because my max doesn't leak any fluids and i don't want it to start now. any ideas? it seems to have been dripping off of the front of the oil pan, but i don't know where from.

 

Sounds like your water pump is crapping out on you

 

Do a presure test on it.

it wouldn't surprise me, i can tell the tensioners for the timing chain are going out because of the rattle on cold starts. i really hope not, cause i don't have the money to put out for all of this. But then again, i might be gettin a credit card through work so this might work out. the only thing is that i checked it two days after the leak happened and it's still where i filled it to and i haven't seen any signs of leakage.
