Did they happen to mention how much? Can anyone authorized dealer order them or straight from Greddy only?

the sp2 for 95-96 does has issues, i dont know why they released it with an extra o2 bung, and with it being too long?

lets see how the 97-99 fits

Greddy usually contacts us with new part numbers and as soon as they do we will have it as well. Greddy still has not added the part number to their site either.

No custom welds are needed. I installed an SP2 on a 99 SE-L and fit perfectly. I'll post pictures if you'd like.

Whats up with this fantom part number??? i called Greddy before ordering the SP2 and they said that they had no plans of making on anytime soon??? Whats up with that? im accually waiting on the shipment of my SP2 for tomorrow... that would suck If its true but like steve said... The Sp2 would fit better for 97-99's, just need a bolt to plug extra hole...

Here are some pics of the SP2 on two different years... First is the 99 and second is the 95... As you can see the outlet tip is a lil further out from the bumper on the 95 than on the 99... thanks guys for your pics

This pic is courtesy of GMahoney, hope you dont mind... 99 Max

This pic is courtesy of Happyricefob, hope you dont mind aswell, just need the pics for educational reasons... 95 Max

OK, I don't get this. People say the only thing you need to do to make the SP2 95-96 fit a 97-99 is plug the O2 sensor hole in the B-pipe.

What I don't get: 95-96 Maxes have the rear O2 in the cat, whereas 97-99 Maxes have the rear O2 in the little S section just aft of the cat. So why does everybody with a 97-99 say you have to PLUG the hole? Seems like it should be the other way around if the SP2 was made for 95-96 (there would be no hole and you'd have to make one for the O2 because you're replacing the stock S-section and B-pipe).

Contrary to popular belief, the rear O2 sensor is important; I definitely want a catback that has a proper hole for it.

Anybody?

I have a 1999 seL with sp2 and I have a O2 sensor to plug in the bung behind the cat which fit perfectly. It is strange that the same model car has a different O2 setup??

The SP2 isnt too loud at all... The sounds not a bit Ricy...

TsingTsaoNYC, the Original SP has an aluminum B-Pipe... So The SP might own in Sound...(If you like it a lil louder) But the SP2 owns in quality...(Full Stainless Steel)

The sp2 is not a loud exhaust... Its quite on idle more of a purr but when you get on it... it sounds good and decently loud Idle most of the time I cant hear it specially when its broken in now
