No, it's not a 194, it's funny looking little bulb. Ball shaped. Looks like a miniature christmas tree ornament ball. And that's the map light but I guess front dome light works too.

I've seen them at AutoZone as part of a 4 pack of "mood" lighting bulbs. In red, blue and green. You get the funny bulb above, two tubular bulbs like the one in the center dome light and one 194 bulb.

i dont want to since my dome is in leds and my door lights are in leds...wehn i actually need to SEE something in the car or read directions, the "map light" is helpful. thanks

I don't think you can find an LED version of this bulb. It'd have to be a mod like the dome light mod write-up.

I went to AutoZone today for some stuff and got you the info for these bulbs. The map light bulb, looks like a little ball is #3175 and the dome light that looks like a little tube is #1895.

They come in red, green, blue or stock. The colored ones say Xtreme Lights on the front of the package and the UPC code for #3175 is 028845100860, maybe your local AutoZone can look it up.

I didn't get the bar code for the other one but both are the same company. The back of the package says Tiger Accessory Group.

The red will be pink. Pick any LED you want from RadioShack. Pick the one with the highest MCD's in the color your want. A little ohms law calculations will tell you the correct resistor to use with it. If you have a smart radioshack dude he can do the calcs. for you.

I think you might have the bulb numbers backwards.
1895 = map light

Scroll down to the Ba9 bulb for the map light style (1895). If you want any other kind super bright leds.com is generally cheaper than the previous site.

Yes, its too good to be true. They will only make your headlight housing nice and blue. They won't do **** to light up the road.
