Raybestos QS pads squealing

Raybestos QS pads squealing
I put in the Raybestos QS pads and they are squealing really bad on my mom's Max. I'm pretty sure they come shimmed, could be wrong. I also have them on my Max and they don't squeal at all. So could it be that the rotors are glazed and have to be cut/resurfaced. Any advice would be great.
Thanks

Any pad can squeal if it's not installed correctly. The shims are there to help prevent the vibration that leads to squealing noises. Something else you can do is apply a special "Disc Brake Quiet" compound between the steel backing plates of the pads and the shims. This compound dries to a rubbery film that damps out vibrations.
