Stock Windshield Washer
Stock Windshield Washer
Hey guys,
Any of you know where I can buy a set of Stock Windshield washer nozzles? I had cobra eyes on, but got tired/sick of them, too rice for me.
Thanks. You can email me too at bambo2888@hotmail.com.

I got a replacement set of nozzles from AutoZone that "spray" washer fluid instead of the two jet streams the OEM nozzle shoot out. The spray is much more effective at wetting the windshield and wets more of it at once. The OEM ones suck.

They are the best. I've got a lot of PM's so let me answer some of them here. I paid with a $10 dollar bill and got change, so they are less than 10 bucks.
They install like LED nozzles... they drop into the stock hole in the hood and tighten down with a rubber washer and nut from underneath. You hook up your hoses, aim them with the little tool included or a small flat screwdriver and that's it.
They only come in black and are no better or worse looking than the OEM ones but are awesome at wetting the windshield. I thought spray nozzles like these only came with American cars that have the nozzles on the wiper arms and spray nice as the arms wipe but my wife's 2000 Odyssey has hood nozzles and they spray beautiful. I was about to order a set from an Ody in black but luckily found mine at AutoZone for much less.
I just washed my car, but next time it's dirty, I'll take some pics of them spraying the windshield and how they look on the hood.
Hope this helps.

Well, just picked mine up down here in FL about 2 hours ago. Too late for me to care to put them on right now. I'll do it tomorrow morning and let you all know. By the way, I got them at Autozone for $9.99, like $10.50 altogther, or something like that.
Nah, I, at least still use windshield washer fluid, but the kind that cuts the grease and bug residue because the Love Bugs here are horrible.
WELL... I put the new nozzles on, and I can safely say that I am impressed, one thing though. I noticed that they dont really spray all the way up the windshield and also, the drip/spray out onto my hood (area b/w glass and nozzles) before and after they are engaged and disengaged. Anyone have a clue?
Thanks.

If I may interject something to piggyback on this topic. I've been using the Rain-X washer fluid for months now. The stuff is really very good. It cuts grime and dirt, etc. and it also leaves that Rain-X finish on the shield so that the water beads and runs when you are in wet weather. If you use the actual Rain-X as well, then this stuff just keeps it from wearing out so quickly. It is a little more costly, of course, than regular fluid, but I think you guys may find it worth the money.

What does this tool look like?
There's really a town in PA called Bethlehem? That's awesome.

It won't keep them from dripping a few drops on the hood but my OEM sprayers used to drip on the hood too. Yours didn't ?

My stock nozzles were also dripped a little too.One question I have for the RainX washer fluid guys:
My brother used it in his car, and for some reason the orangy fluid would drip down his hood and harden (because rainx is wax) and it would look horrible after a few weeks. I've seen other cars with these orange stains and so I've stayed away from the stuff. Does this happen on your max?

lol...yeah man. We are called 'Christmas City USA'. It's great around this time of year. We also have this huge music festival every summer in August called Musikfest. This year Chingy and Twista, Huey Lewis and Alice Cooper played. I even caddied for Alice Cooper the day before his concert and he hooked me up with front stage and backstage passes.

I read in other forums that the new Pathfinder nozzles are great... they cover your whole windshield when spraying, not the 2 streams others have talked about. I personally haven't seen them in use yet. Time to goto the dealership!

P.S. I'm glad so far everyone likes the AutoZone ones, cheap and very effective.
I've now been to autozone, pep boys, and advance autoparts, and all of them only had the stupid LED ones. I also tried the autozone website and all I can find are the LED ones there too. Can one of you give me a part number or something off the packaging? Thanks alot!!!

Yup, at Autozone, the part no. is AM-008. The item description on the box is "O.E. Replacement Windshield Nozzle". They are manufactured by Pilot. I think thier website is www.pilotautomotive.com. Thanks and let me know if anything in this is wrong.
Here's a picture of them at work. It's hard to really see how good the spray really is but you can see they are much better than stock.

AutoZone does tend to run out them, I was there the other day and couldn't find them, they said they'd get more next week. But this is what they look like so you have an idea.

Resurrecting this thread.
Anyone know where else I can get these "O.E. Replacement Windshield Nozzles" or something similar?
Been to Autozone already. No luck.
I refuse to use those LED nozzles that are sold all over. Yuck.
