Coilover suspension question.

I wanted to know how to choose spring rates. would 8/7 or 7/6 be good choices? I dont want it too stiff where i hop all over the place (if thats how it works) and yet i wouldnt want it too soft either. Any help would be great.

Spring rates are you usually in the hundreds....usually youll see it 500 for the front and 350 for the rear...

Is your question about the setting on the AGX's ??

He's talking about the metric measurement. JIC uses 9/6, Tiens are around 7/6. That should give you a basis. Also "hopping all over the place" is controlled by the shocks, not the springs. Make sure you invest in a kit with good shocks.

im talking about the D2 coilovers, there is a roup deal going on now for them. The numbers are in thousands. So the 8/7 would mean 8000k for the front and 7000k for the rear. At least thats what i gathered.
The numbers go up to 10, 10 being the stiffest. Im just wondering if the stiffer the spring is, would it cause the car to hop a lot more?
