spark plug questions

Just wonder if any one is running the NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs or should I replace my old ones with the stock replacements? Any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks

I am was talked into it by a mechanic I know and I really don't see the difference, except the cost. They were around $12.00 each. They said Lazer Platinum NGK Iridium. Don't know what the lazer means though...

$12.00 each

The best plug out there for us is the NGK V-power copper, part BKR5E-11. $1.75 each, stronger spark, but only last 30k miles.

bkr5eGP have a platinum tip but no platinum on the electrode. I had 30K on a set before I sold the car and the car was still starting and idling well with good fuel economy...I was hoping to get around 40K out of them....they can be had for about $3.30 each from clubplug.net I just put a set in my new max and a friends so I'll be anxiously waiting to see if they last more than coppers or iridium's for the slight upcharge compared to copper's.
