please help with the rear 02 sensor replacement

I got the code 0707 o2 sensor... so i bought it. But i can't find the right socket to replace it in any store around here... they all have one size which is too big! that socket fits the front oxygen sensor but not the rear one...

did anyone here replace the rear oxygen sensor themselves?

btw, i did read through the How to's still cant find it... and i cant search...

Thanks

Why not just use a regular open ended wrench? don't think you need the special socket for the rear O2 sensor...

Because of its topside location, that rear 02 sensor can be a tough one to remove with a standard wrench. I'd suggest going to Autozone and utilize their free loan tool program. They have a special socket set for all the o2 sensors. With this socket, it will take you just a few minutes to remove/replace sensor.

I didn't quite remember the angle at which the sensor is seated into the pipe after the cat... this pic here shows exactly what you are saying...

yeah, the regular open ended wrench doesnt fit in there... and there is no Autozone around here... I went through most autopart stores around here... and they all have only one socket, which is for the front. I even went to the shop, to ask them if i can borrow theirs... they said they also have only one size, but if i want they will find a way to replace it for 70$

I used open end wrench for all 3 when removing, and o2 socket to install. Maybe link 2 wrenches together to extend them for tq? Don't forget to spray PB Blaster or some penetrant before removing.
