new pics of my 4th gen even lower :)

i got sick of not being "low" enough so i got lower on coils and love it. i'm 2 inches lower now than before
old lowering

new lowering

very stiff ride. but i really like it handles soooo nice now. i'm a mini trucker at heart so i know it's not low. i have about 1.5" of gap space now compared to 3.5" but might get rid of the too who knows

I had Ground controls for a while and had a similar drop, but just couldn't stand the ride. Nice drop, but im not feeling the rims or "missing grille" look.

rims look alot better clean and i got in an accident ad haven't put my billet grill back in.

ya they're chopped maxspeeds took out a coil for now. mud gaurds and pin stripping are coming off soon w. new paint

looks good man. why dont u use a OEM grille it will look a lot nicer then the billet one.

NICE Drop but it definetly needs a body kit now man. I wanted to drop my GXE and now im thinking twice after seeing your picture, because i know that it will need a body kit to look really nice.

just one coil from the front and one from the rear?

I got the drop i wanted when i took 2 coils off my front intrax...but cutting coils is not so nice. It rode the same since the 2 coils were dead and touching when the car was on the ground. The only problem was they werent under any compression when the car was off the ground. That could be dangerous. Do the maxspeeds seat well and have enough compression to stay in one spot?

no no no no...you drop it way before a body kit......that would look teriiable way up with with a kit. i got rims before my drop nad i cano tbelive i drove around like that for so liong way up there. you gotta drop then kit then rims.

actually it was about 1 1/2 coils but no there was still enough compression so that the springs were still set in the cups.

definitely drop before body kit... look on my homepage for pics of my car at stock height with a body kit... it doesn't look very good
