Question about gauges

Hey guys...I just installed the 2 color indigo gauges and it seems whenever i switch from green to blue, the transitor or resistor or whatever the box is starts this high pitched steady beeping noise. You can't hear it when the car is on, but I am wondering if this is a terrible thing to be hearing( ie) Is it gonna catch on fire or something...

Thanks!

Yea, that's definitely normal. I would have kept mine in, except is for some reason interferred with the gauge needles, forcing them to jump to their destinations.

Which, I might as well take this opportunity, does anyone have any clue why my gauge needles, after taking the indiglo gauges off, the RPM needle STILL jumpes when I first start the car? Thanks.

But, yea, def. normal.

The jumping thing happened to me...I just put some double sided tape in to make sure the gauges stick down better and it fixed the problem...
