Question
If i have some air in my rear calipers, would that prevent the parking brake from taking a firm hold
or is there something i can do to increase the tension of my parking brake....i just put in new rear calipers and have a little mooshy-ness in my brake pedal and my parking brake doesn't take too great of hold

The parking brake is mechanically connected. The adjustment is under the handle. You have to remove the center console (smart design) to get to it.
If you actually had air in a rear brake line, the car's rear end would tend to sway to the working side or would feel like it is pitching forward. The likelyhood for having air in just one line and not all the lines is remote. If the brake fluid is low, the ebrake light comes on.
