OD button, and OverDrive itself is bugging out:
Well, today, my OD light decided to just come on, I shifted it out of park, and into neutral, and the light stayed on. Then I put it into drive and it turned off. My OD button hasn't been working since I took my shifter off to see what the problem was. Well the plastic has broken around the shifter. After I put the shifter back together, I put the 2 wires in the right places.
Now my OD doesn't work. Same as today, I was driving around, and my OD light decided to come on at random. I could feel the transmission shift out of OD. Then the light disappeared then the transmission shifted it back into OD.
Ever since I took my shifter apart to see what the problem was, I haven't had any OD display. WTH is going on? What can I do to fix this?

i'd take it apart and take a look. sounds like you have a loose connection with those wires. i've spliced my wires when changing my shift **** and know what you're talking about, only i didn't have it happen often, only when shifting out of park but it goes right off. check out your connections...
if it's not simply the wires, then i can't help you because then it gets hairy. best of luck, i'm pretty positive that's what it will be since you said it has only happened since you had your shifter off.
