Some fools tried to steal my car last night! I need to have the side molding on the driver side replaced where they pried open and shattered the glass. Anybody know exactly which part this is. I have posted a pic.

Car and house is different. Your car is mere property so you can use enough force to subdue them...however if they come at you using deadly physical force... like a gun or a knife, you as a citizen, your duty is to get away and get yourself somewhere safe. If your in a corner or somehow cannot run then yes you can use deadly physical force. You cant use it to just protect your car though.

Your house is a different story, believe it or not you have no duty to flee from your house if you are in danger. You can take the guy and beat the crap out of him if you want... if he tries to run just remember to drag his *** back inside and beat him again... Its like the old saying, your house is your domain and no one can violate that.
