good news - after some debates within the last month or so, my brother has agreed to let me have the Max after all!

Now I can finish off the following, step by step

- Windshield
- Tires
- Repainting of front & rear bumpers (spring '05)
- Timing Chain tensioner
- New KS
- New O2 sensors (possible)

Planning to add a remote start soon, then after the above repairs, i'll start the modding step by step!

 

Did you get him to sign over the title, or is this a verbal agreement?

get that title signing taken care of first before ANY mods, you don't want to be going thru the same thing again.

 

yeah, I'm happy about it too. This will be a nice side project as I work on the Max step-by-step in '05. So far, it's about 85% restored, still needs a little work before I start modding. I'll keep everyone updated on my progress.
