EGR Valve code

I just got error code 0302 this morning, which points to the EGR Valve. My question is where can I buy this valve and how hard is it to change. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Check how to's stickies on page 2...I had the same code for a month, car ran sluggish during this time..finally EGR solenoid was replaced and my problem was solved.
EGR valves hardly fail, so don't bother with this...it seems as though this code seems to be common with our 4th gens.

That page shows me the diagram only, did you change the solenoid yourself? Or did you take it to a mechanic. Also, what was the cost for it all?

Thanks!

I took it to Nissan, they first misdiagonosed my car and changed EGR valve..code came back that same day and then they changed EGR solenoid for free as courtesy for screwing up..I heard it dosn't cost too much and it is easy to replace yourself..Check with other org members on how to replace..I think last week there was a thread pertaining to this problem and how to replace..Give me a second I'll find it for you.

Use the How-To's to first diagnose that the EGR valve is not the culprit.
For the EGR solenoid valve it is a 10-15 minute change. Couldn't get easier. To spot the solenoid valve look in between the trans dipstick and the engine block. You will see a connector attached to it and a couple of vacuum hoses. The valve should be green or brown depending what your car requires. It is a dealer-only part. You could always buy one from the dealer first and see what it looks like.
Part # 1495631U01 or 1495631U10 like i said depending on what your car takes.
Hope this helps.
