okay here is the problem, the ground on my '96 got reversed on my car and now most of the electronics in the interior are not working, i think it may have fried some wires, but i dont know. anyways heres what doesnt work...
-power windows
-clock
-rear defrost
-stereo (going places is so boring now)
-cruise control
-hazards
-interior lights
just wondering if anyone else has had this happen or knows what to do...

check you fuses

 

both fuses called "electrical part" keep blowing when i replace them they are both 7.5a

 

i have a similar problem i got a pioneer hu on stock everything and it works sometimes not everytime it goes on and off when it feels like it, is theire something wrong with the ground?? or wat or should i just get a new one???

 

Put a bigger fuse in, That what I did when my light fuse kept bustin, worked just fine.

 

If there's not problem with the fuse than try reseting the BCM. It happen to me, once I reset the BCM. Everything came back online. BCM is locate behind the HU. Is a black box with has alot of wires plug to it. Unplug and plug to reset it.
