My service engine light just came on yesterday. It is due for an oil change soon but is this all that means. Cannot find it in the manual.

You have a 95 Maxima? Thats a 4th generation. Go to the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) in the 4th gen section. The 4ths are easy to diagnose. There is a screw you turn on the computer located under the dash , just right of the gas pedal. It will flash the dash check engine light fast or slow. The combination will give you the code and the FAQs will tell you how to decipher that code.

 

I actually have an 03 SE titanium edition now...The light just came on recently...know anything?

 

You should post in the 5th gen forum. Autozone will check the codes for free. On the 4th gen you can check them yourself, but I don't know if the 5th gen is the same.
