Like I said I received a code just for this some time ago but it has not returned once I reset the ECU, should I still replace it? I was looking at it and I have no clue how to take it out, hell I don't even know if it needs to be replaced since the code never returned.

 

Weird, I had the same problem also, I did a self-diagnostic check and I got codes for the EGRC Solenoid Valve and Knock Sensor, but when I scanned it again with an ODBII Scanner, it showed no codes at all.

 

Mine returned after a couple of days..I kept resetting it, a few times, but it kept coming back..finally EGRC solenoid was replaced and my car ran like new again.
