10-03 Cell After 5 speed conversion Please Help!

I hope someone on this forum can help me. I have been looking for an answer everywhere I can think of and I can't figure it out. After I did my five speed conversion I swaped out the ECU with one from the same year and model as my car but with a 5 speed tranny all my codes went away except for this one. Has anyone seen this problem or knows how to fix it.

I will greatly appreciate any input to solve this problem. Thanks for your help in advance

PARK/Neutral Position Switch. is your car running? if so, you bypassed this switch by splicing 2 wires together. does your cruise control work? did you unplug the TCM? the code will probably go away if you take the wires that are spliced together at the tranny and hardwire them to the clutch interlock switch at the clutch pedal.

read the section on bypassing the P/N position switch.

I did that and it still gives me the same code. Where is the Park neutral switch located. Can I just unplugg it or is there a way to get around it so I won't get the code. I need to take care of it because I'm afraid my car wont pass a smog test here in Cali if the check engine light is on.

I get that code every once in a while... If you can get to autozone and have them pull the codes(its free). When they see the park neutral code and then look over to see a manual shifter they are going to bug out, let them know what you have done and ask them to erase the code. Try it out and see what happens.
