Yeah, it's a major brand.

I don't know about the quality overall, but it's not a no-name filter or anything. I wouldn't worry about it.

I use the Purolater PureOne oil filter. It's metallic blue and not the same as the regular Purolator. It has an anti-drain back valve inside which I can't find on any other filter. I've used it on all my cars (7 total) and no problems with any of them.

No dry start noises, no leaks, no problems. Very happy with it.

For the last 3 years I have been using puralator pureone oil filters. I've had no problems with filter and I used them on my old car as well.

Purolator is one of the best brands out there, especially their PUre One Filters

IIRC they were the makers of the first oil filter

a filter is a filter...i've seen cars with 200k+ using the shabbiest filters and oil around...the important part is every 3k, not what you put in

OT, but what are you lowered on? That's look way too low to be H&R.

But to keep it on topic. Purolator filters are very good. I use them for flushes only because they are cheap. They have an anti-drain back valve that keeps the filter primed with oil so that you dont suffer dry starts. K&N fliters are good as well.

Yeah, what springs are they? I originally wanted to go with H&R sport springs but said the application never existed for the maxima (the red ones).
