Infinity I30 Headlights in 98 Max

Ive always wanted to mod my 98 max, but I never had the cash to do it. This past semester, I was able to save up some considerable change. However, I sorta disregarded my max and descided to save up for something else (possibly a used Z). Anyways, my dreams came crashing down when I got into a wreck this past week. To make a long story short, I had to replace the controller arm, struts, and axle as well as the hood and get some body work on it. A G later, Im thinking my max needs some loving since I have to put my Z dreams on hold for a semester or two. Anyways, I got my hands on some one-piece Infinity I30 head lights (for the 97-99 i think), and I was told that they would fit in my max. I was wondering if anyone has tried this mod, and how did it turn out?

Beyond the headlights, I probably am going to do some basic mods just to spruce the max up a little bit. Clear out the tail lights, remove the maxima symbol in the back. I would do some performance mods, but this car will be going to my parents once I get a Z (or whatever else), so I really don't want to mess with the engine.

I feel so bad, I treated my max like crap really, and all shes done is be a reliable drive and beyond. Gotta make ammends...

the one piece headlights are usually from the cefiros (japan version of maxima/I30) Yes they will fit, but you will have a little gap on the sides next to the fenders, most people just use weather stripping to fill up the gap, and it looks great! how much did you get the headlights for?

around $280. I am not sure if I got ripped off or not, I was just so angry that I had to put down a G to fix it, i descided to get something nice(r). They are smoked 1-piece headlights.

i really dont know where to go from here. gonna have to save up for a new paint job definently, have a ghetto-fabulous matte black hood on there right now. dont know if I want to repaint the whole thing or just the hood and front bumper and blend it in with the fenders. the guy who fixed my suspension and did all the body work said he would do that for $500. that seems fairly reasonable, since i have seen his work and its really good.

The wreck was a real eye-opener

I plan on putting some time and money into this car to get it into top condition. Im creeping up on 120K, so its prolly time for me to start checking out the suspension. Ive been blessed with hardly any engine problems, which is a relief cause I prolly would have just given the car to my parents and bought a bike

As said above the install is the same as Cefiros.

No. H4 are 9003 bulbs. You'll need to buy new harnesses and wire all of it up. Those are Cefiro lights by the way, paradox sells them, but those arent OEM lights.
