Have you considered coppers?

I think these are the plats PFR5G-11. Found on www.ngksparkplugs.com. There are some other plats listed, but that part number looks familiar.

I got my coppers from jr nissan with "maxima" promo code.

Unless you're a lazy bum who doesn't have and hour of spare time every 30k miles, there is no excuse to get the plats. BKR5E, coppers, get'em.

I recently picked up the coppers at Autozone, BKR5E-11. I enjoy changing the plugs so I don't mind doing it again. No need for plats, coppers work great. Usually your local auto parts store will have them in stock. Good luck.

Why NGK? i know they are specified by the manufacturer, but this is sometimes just a scheme, Just like bosh platinum 4, those things didn't show any improvement on my mazda. I bought Autolite sparkplugs for my 96 maxima and it runs perfect. Why spend money on expensive plugs?

BKR5EGP - the poor man's platinum. I got 30K on the last set before I sold the car...they should last about 40K for $3.50 each. check www.clubplug.net. A tech at NGK told me to only expect about 40K out of iridiums, which are closer to $8 I think. Coppers aer still the best for your money...and the the time to change easily makes up the price difference. But to each his own....just stick with NGK.
